Wasn't it just 4 days ago that every Cub Fan was tied up on the railroad tracks and a locomotive was roaring down about 100 MPH??
Nothin' like sweeping a hot New York Mets team with their starting staff of baseball studs to make it all better, is there.
That wasn't a question.
When this series started, the Cubs had just been swept and the thought of going A) on the road to face B) Strohman, Thor and deGrom back to back to back was forcing me to drink scotch and Alka Seltzer on the rocks.
This last game, The Caratini Game, with Victor Caratini blasting 2 home runs off Jacob deGrom was the least likely win of an impossible sweep.
Everything is awesome except...
I've had a sort of major league upheaval in real life happen, and I gots alots of deets to attend to.
No time for writing today.
But if YOU'VE got time, it would surely be nice to get some glowing comments about our favorite team today.
Thanks and GO CUBS!
DON'T LET UP AGAINST THESE BREWERS WHO ARE BACKED INTO A CORNER LIKE EITHER A RABID WOLVERINE, OR... maybe just a wounded bunny with his buddy the rat who can't find any alley PEDS.
Can't really tell.
