Nobody ever said I matured beyond 12..
I didn't get to see it, but I guess Pedro Strop hit Yasiel Puig with a pitch in the 8th, and Puig got upset.
Later, Strop called him stupid.
A couple times.
They also both also said there was nothin' personal, and no retribution should be expected.
Okay, we'll see.
Starting All-Star shortstop Javier Baez hit a grand slam and the Cubs beat the Reds 6-nothin'.
Jose Quintana started off pretty rough, but then settled down to shut the Reds out for 6.
Cishek, Strop and Dillon Maples shut 'em out the rest of the way.
Nice and needed.
Also, Cargo got let go (Joe said maybe he'll go to Iowa?), Hamels on the IL, Cubs called up Dillon Maples and Rowan Wick.
Kyle Hendricks is definitely on the horizon, which is good because the rotation is kind of a mess and there's still a ways to go til the team gets a rest.
That's all I have time for.
Except Reds manager David Bell got tossed after Maples hit a guy.
Hopefully not, but it might get messy out there.
