The only thing cooler than Kyle Schwarber beating the shift with a nifty little bunt is when he does it by hitting a stunning 440 footer up to the 2nd deck.
He did both those things the last couple days as the Cubs took 2 from the Mariners in Seattle.
Schwarber may be warming up for real, too.
"Less than a week ago, Schwarber was hitting .191, but four of his last seven hits have gone for extra bases. His batting average is up to.241 now."
That was from ESPN.
And Anthony Rizzo has been taking off as well - he hit one out in left center last night, and he's up to 20 RBIs by May 1.
I sure hope they're smokin' hot this weekend.
Friday the 1st place Cards come to town with their 5-game winning streak to the Cubs' 4-gamer.
Both teams are super hot, and it's going to be something to see.
Sorry no time to write, but good GOD am I anticipating 1:20 on Friday.
