It's KILLING me.
The swinging at first pitches.
Swinging at pitches over your head.
Seeing jokey tweets like "Matt Sczcur, please send a bat".
This whole NLCS could change in the blink of a Ben Zobrist double.
An Anthony Rizzo single to left.
A Javy bunt.
The Cubs need a rally.
And you know what?
All that's gotta happen is for the giant to wake.
On Tuesday night, the Cubs are gonna see another 5 innings from a Dodger starter and then Dave Roberts will pick and choose among his fleet of Caddy Relievers.
They are so good, but... fuck that.
I'm sick of my favorite team tipping their hat to the other guys.
The Cubs are built to smack the ball around the park.
Just... work it.
Stop letting their relievers throw 10 pitches and get three outs.
The giant will wake.
And everything'll be just fine.
ps: Everybody's got all winter to talk about Game 2's pitching.
But I don't think I will, even later.
I just.. I cannot stand wasting my breath on or listening to negative bullshit when there's baseball to be played.
Water under the bridge and batter up.
