Yeah...
Last night, you saw what I saw.
Dodgers 6 Cubs nothin'.
And at the end it was pretty grim.
I remembered this kind of illustration from my flight from Arizona.
I searched for it in the American Airline Magazine after I stared at this logo on the wall in front of me too much:
That's supposed to be an eagle, right?
But I kept instead seeing sheet metal peeling off a plane's wing like that crazy Twilight Zone with William Shatner.
But I digress.
Last night...
Not alot to hang onto.
But this Cub team is waaay to good to keep that up.
And there are still miles to go.
So settle down.
Lighten up.
Tune in again this evening.
Lets see what happens.
Go Cubs.
PS: This is the interior of the AON Center after a Cub win.
I expect to see it up tomorrow morning.
All we need is one inning. One inning with a couple of singles, a double down the right field line, and maybe a dinger.
That could change the face of the whole series. We're only down by one game. And it can still be a long series.
No matter what happens, we can't win or lose the series tonight. Just get the momentum back. That's all we need.

Totally agree.
I miss SOME kind of chaos.
The kind Joe's so good at taking advantage of.
Think back to back squeeze bunts vs the Cards, something like that.
But you're right, I'm just saying it differently - one good punch in the face to put them on their heels.

Yeah, that was a pretty bleak two games, but it ain't over til it's over.
Last night was a lot of fun! If I'm the Dodgers, I'm a bit worried. If Russell and Rizzo are hitting, the Dodgers prospects are bleak.
I love your observation on the logo. I always wonder..."How many people signed off on that?"
My current favorite bad logo is MetroPCS. Everytime I see the storefront sign, the only thing I see is POS (piece of...something)

HAHAHAHAA!
That's bad.
Do you remember the line "Coke is it!" and everybody thought they said, "Coke is zits!"?
You gotta watch that stuff.
Sorry I missed this yesterday, but another W happened last night and now it's time to catch your breath and get ready for tomorrow.
