I don't know.
I think I do but whatever.
Guy's a left fielder.
And he's a catcher once in a while, like when someone gets hurt or Joe Maddon just feels like putting an extra bomber in the lineup.
He's the left catcher.
Remember what Kris Bryant said last year (read it here)?
"...I’m a baseball player. I’m not a third baseman or (just) a hitter. I’m willing to do whatever."
Now... remember just... moving Alfonso Soriano down in the lineup?
I am so thrilled to have Kyle Schwarber on my favorite team.
I mean - I don't know what he's really doing.
I imagine he's running around in a field shaggin' flies... I imagine he's doing that more than catching behind the plate.
Here's the best article I could find on him, from Ben Lindbergh at the now-defunct Grantland.
I would just like to say that yes the Bears were sort of terrible again.
But I can totally see myself in 10 years talking about that little 17-13 win in Green Bay.
Those happen waay too rarely, and it just made my whole winter.
Okay now, can baseball please hurry up?
