With two errors made by the Cardinals late in games one and two of yesterday's double header, all I could think was that the tables turned.
At least for a day.
Because yesterday it was the Cardinals' turn to make the mistakes.
How nice for us.
Sorry I don't have time to go into all the details of Jake Arrieta dominance, Dallas Beeler's excellent 5 innings, some timely hitting and a little power even.
But you probably saw the games.
It's too early for a "turning point" probably, but July 7th might be a day we look back on and think hmm.. things changed that day.
One more vs the Cards tonight.
Hammel vs Wacha.
The opportunity is here to take a big series vs the first place Cards.
Take it, Cubs.
