I'm pretty happy with the season-long suspension of Alex Rodriguez.
I guess he's going to try and fight it in Federal Court, but that all sounds like a dead end.
60 Minutes is going to do an interview with top Biogenesis drug dealer Anthony Bosch (remember that the whole time you watch, because this man is no shining example to anyone either).
No single player is bigger than the game, and nobody should get away with lying and cheating no matter what their chosen profession.
Maybe some good can come of this.
Maybe some young players benefit from A-Rod's gross example, because the bottom line includes not only a ruined reputation, but also the loss of serious cash money.
Listen, I had a close friend pass away over the holidays.
And grief is a really weird thing.
Like a baseball bat.
I knew it was coming, but not when.
Anyway, I'm probably gonna check out for little bit...
Tim, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Take all the time you need, we'll be here when you get back.

Tim, I too feel for you and your friend. You'll be in our prayers.
Life has a way of reordering your priorities. This blog is nowhere near the top of the list right now.
As Rich said, we'll be here whenever you feel well enough to return.
