So I'm way behind but the Cubs beat the Cardinals behind the brilliant pitching and damn near complete game by Jeff Samardzija on... what day was that? Tuesday?
Fantastic.
Then yesterday was a long plane ride but I got home and caught some of the Cubs loss and some of the Blackhawks win.
Amazing for the Hawks since they kinda had to win that one and pulled out the overtime W with a slapshot from... Brent Seabrook, who we all might look at after this season and marvel at what a playoff run the guy had.
Okay super busy gotta run but how fabulous to take at least one from the best-in-baseball Cards in St. Louis.
