In 1964, the Cubs traded a young Lou Brock for a Cardinal pitcher named Ernie Broglio.
Lou Brock became famous for being a hall of fame base stealing stud, and Ernie is maybe famous for being the guy the Cubs traded Lou for.
Anyway, when the Cubs swept the Astros 4 games to nothin, the Trib said it had been 42 years since it happened.
Always interesting to look back and see what was going on back then.
