This was the series made famous in Buzz Bissinger's fabulous "Three Nights in August" book. The setting is Busch Stadium and a Cubs/Cards 3-game series. Cubs had won game 1 with Prior on the mound.
In this game, Kerry Wood was masterful through 7, but Alfonseca and especially Farnsy just blew the game.
The Cubs just can't win at Busch.
