It seems like all I have ever done on this blog is complain about time.
Haven't won a World Series for a million years, and everything just seems to move in sloooow motion while we waaaaaiiit for the teeeaaaaammm to coooome togeethhhhher.
But that's all out the window.
The prospects that have been carefully chosen by Theo and Co. are now arriving at a faster pace than Theo and Co. let on earlier.
Seriously - did you expect this to happen this year?
This has turned into the perfect situational season to bring up the kids and let 'em play Big League ball without the pressure of having to win.
Tomorrow it'll be Jorge Soler flying in to Cincinnati to play his first game in the majors, taking over (I assume) right field.
Now, I still haven't given up on Olt by any stretch (he's injured, maybe thru the end of the season), but you can now see that it's all coming true.
Rizzo, Castro, Baez, Alcantara and Soler are all in the same lineup.
Next year you can add Bryant and maybe Olt.
One's head spins.
This has turned out to be the most must-watch baseball in forEVER.
