Given the recent abuse of the bullpen, a little armrest is exactly what the Cubs needed.
It pushed back the rotation a game, so today will be Jason Hammel vs. Michael Wacha and we'll have to wait til tomorrow to see if Jeff Samardzija can get his first win, and that may come against the Brewers at home.
I followed a link on a tweet that said Mike Olt, who was going to sit yesterday, was put back in the lineup.
Here it is.
Our new manager, he confuses me greatly.
Besides the big reason Olt should play every day, which is he just should, why Ricky Renteria would sit the leading home run hitter on the team vs. the Cardinals is just idiotic.
My car broke the other day which is an awesomely fun story, but what it means today is that I had to take the el in.
Don't know if you noticed, but the weather has turned back to crap.
But I tried out my Patagonia rain jacket with this awesome hood and... it actually works!
But of course my pants are all wet and my feet are soaked and so, you know, it would be really nice if the Cubs could beat the Cardinals because I'm pretty sure that by this afernoon I'll still be pissed.
