Man am I late.
And no time for painting but had to get SOMEthing up for this kind of important grand slam event, so... some photoshop for you.
I don't really care about beating the Sox this year.
Okay that's a giant lie, but whatever.
A very important thing is this guy Mike Olt.
Cubs management has to just stop messing with him and just let. him. play.
All the time.
Find out if he's your third baseman or not.
(I just screen grabbed this from Cubs.com - see what position they have him at?)
I'd like to know if he is.
And management should REALLY want to know.
Because IF he is, then other stuff should happen with other players who aren't here yet.
I mean, if you were Kris Bryant, wouldn't you want to be playing in the outfield if you knew that's where you'd be playing if you came to the Bigs?
Anyway, a grand slam.
Cubs win an easy one 12-5 and don't get swept by the Sox.
Olt's average is horrible, but man that guy has got some power and last night's big hit couldn't have come at a better time.
Let him play, see if he can't get better with the contact and keep the power going.
It's steak night at my place.
