This Blackhawks vs Kings series is proving to be way up there in all my collective sports watching history.
Remember I told you my wife shut off half the house to keep from hearing me yell?
Last night she came in laughing and said, "When I heard you yelling I could also hear the whole block yelling."
Crazy back and forth with the leads throughout.
You're up you're down you're sideways and inside out all in 5 minutes of watching.
And at the end of the 3rd with about 4 minutes left, for some inexplicable reason the Kings let Patrick Kane have... space.
A little room.
And he skated along the boards away from the goal, cut back across to the front and... isn't somebody gonna come up and challenge?
Ahh what do I know, the whole thing happened really fast, but it seems like whenever Kane gets the puck the Kings swoop down and this time it didn't happen.
The puck shoots by a buncha guys, most importantly Jonathan Quick.
Hawks up 4-3 and now they have to not let L.A. score for the last three minutes and forty five seconds which took about a couple hours to go by.
But it did.
And the Blackhawks are still alive and now it's on to game 7 here in Chicago.
If you're not watching this you're really really missing something.
Made fish tacos last night.
Right when the Cubs game started.
Go out back, light the fire and turn on the radio and Pat's saying to not worry there's miles to go in this one.
It's the first inning.
It's 5 nothin' Brewers and creepy liar Ryan Braun already hit one out and poor Travis Wood already threw a billion pitches just to get thru the 1st.
Got my little At Bat alert a couple hours later saying they lost 5 to 11.
This year is just awful.
They're on at 4 today though.
It would do my summer good to hear the Cubs beat the Brewers, please.
