With all we've heard and read about Matt Garza lately, there just doesn't seem like there's any way in the world he doesn't get traded.
Like really really soon, too, according to MLB Traderumors.
Toronto, Cleveland, Texas, St. Louis... what will the Cubs get in return?
Tell you what, if they make this trade with the Cardinals and it goes south...
There's not much Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer can do wrong (at least for a couple years when the Cubs are supposed to win the World Series) but if Garza goes to St. Louis and the Cubs get Ernie Broglio Jr. well, that wouldn't be good.
I'm pretty confident in these guys, though.
The Cardinals are apparently loaded prospect-wise, so if they do deal with those guys I hope they get the good one(s).
I also read somewhere that they might package Garza with Dioner Navarro, who is having a pretty amazing year too.
Yeah, it's cruel how long we have to endure this re-stocking, but what's a couple more years anyway?
Lots of the names of lures in the gif are real, or based on real names.
They all sound like lethal pitches though.
Anyway, I just got back from another chance at Mr. Musky.
More about that soon...
