There!
I took all the pun-headlines already!
So this alderman Tom Tunney apparently said the Wrigley Field scoreboard should be replaced with a jumbotron and "make it as big as you want".
Today we read that no, he merely suggested it be moved to left field.
And that that was one of many ideas floated to keep the rooftop owner's view of Wrigley as clear as possible.
Whatever, this thing going on between the alderman and the Ricketts has been going on forever, and the mayor's been involved forever, and he wants it figured out.
I hope they figure it out, too, and leave the scoreboard alone.
Next Brian Urlacher.
I thought this might happen.
I wish he'd have taken whatever money the Bears offered rather than this route, because I just hoped he'd retire a Bear.
But there's progress happening with the Bears, and it comes with a price, and if that's what we have to live with than that's what we have to live with.
I hope he finds someplace where he can be effective, and not in Green Bay or Minnesota.
