Is it because of their fans with their dorkchop white pants, belts and shoes with the red polo shirts?
Because of their dumb luck with guys like that other Carpenter, Matt, who just shows up in the playoffs when Carlos Beltran gets hurt and hits a homer and leads the Cards to a win?
Is it because the Cubs have been irrelevant for so long that in St. Louis they really only pay attention to the Reds?
Or just because they continually win year after year?
