Thank you, Ryan Vogelsong.
This San Francisco Giants vs St. Louis Cardinal series has been pretty dang fun to watch.
A disastrous 2nd inning for Chris Carpenter, giving up 4 runs (after one in the 1st).
It included a super nifty RBI single for Vogelsong when he did the "I'm gonna bunt" stance and then changed into the "Oh no I'm not" stance and smacked one to SS Pete Kozma's right that he got to but bobbled as a run scored and worse, an out didn't happen.
E on Kozma.
Marco Scutero hit a double which knocked in 2 including Vogelsong.
And then Pablo Sandoval hit a single which scored Scutero.
Giants 5 Cards nothin' and it was only thru the 2nd.
Chris Carpenter pitched two more scoreless and then took a seat.
But Vogelsong, that guy went 7 innings and gave up only 4 hits and one teeny run.
And Game 7 happens right when it's Game 1 of Bears vs Lions.
I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'll be in my office all night long.
Ow.
Sometimes it just works out like that.
