Sorry, that stuff makes me laugh.
Anyway, I almost felt sorry for Cardinal starter Lance Lynne.
He'd given up only a walk through three, but then came the 4th.
Ex-Astro Hunter Pence is up for the Giants with Pablo Sandoval on first, Marco Scutaro at 2nd and one out.
Pence hits a little accident to Lynne.
Sandoval looks like a pulling guard running to second.
Cardinal 2B Daniel Descalso thought the ball might get past Lynne, so he takes a step forward while SS Pete Kozma tentatively moves towards second, stops, then runs over to the bag as Lynne's throw bounces off 2nd up over Kozma and then Kozma bounces off Sandoval, who then runs to third while Scutaro scores.
After, they had a great shot of Lynne who appeared to be talking to himself.
He threw it at the bag.
Had Kozma been there, Sandoval's out by a mile.
Maybe Kozma had baseball's version of hearing footsteps, because he sure doesn't want a real collision with Sandoval.
He also grounded into a bases loaded double play.
The last guy to do that in a playoff game?
Rick Sutcliffe in 1989.
Ouch for us.
Okay so like I said, I almost felt sorry for him but...nah.
Game 1 was Sandoval, Giants lose.
Game 2 was Carpenter and Holliday, Cards lose.
Game 3 was Cain, Giants lose.
Game 4 was Sandoval again, Giants lose.
Game 5 was Lynne, Cards win.
That's probably really a buncha nothin', but there you go.

They lost Bob Brenly.
Man that one hurts.
He's just a guy unafraid to say what he thinks about what he sees.
His constant critiques of Alfonso Soriano's left field struggles were as fantastic as when he also said how much Soriano had improved last year.
Now you have to worry about who's next, and no matter who it is...well they won't be Brenly.
