Except for that annoying couple minutes up front, what an enjoyable way to spend an NFL Football Sunday.
Watching Jay Cutler toss the ball around with a much more balanced offense was kind of an Outer-Bear experience, wasn't it?
Bears score 41 in the opener?
Colts and whiz kid Luck get 21.
Not bad.
Packers lose at home against the niners.
The Bears could really be sitting early-pretty with a win against Green Bay Thursday.
And then changing channels just in time to catch the end of the Cubs sweeping the Pirates?
I've said this too much: I know we're not supposed to care about wins, but damn it just makes for a better day.
It's almost weird in that of all the teams out there, I wouldn't mind seeing the Pirates sneak into the playoffs.
But I'm pretty sure the Cubs just did the dagger to the heart thing with this sweep.
I'm out of here on vacation for a bit, so I'll pre-plan some oldies to put up and see you in a bit.
Go Cubs.
