I read an excellent article yesterday by Mike Lupica at the NY Daily News about what is about to happen to Roger Clemens.
I'm sure you're aware that I'm not a fan of Roger dating back to before any of the steroid accusations came to light.
But now it's come to another hearing, and I began to think about what I would draw for that.
And there ain't nothin' funny about it at all.
I don't think I'm alone in thinking Clemens is guilty, I also think most of the country thinks that this whole deal has been a waste of time and money.
But as Lupica points out, Roger did this to himself.
If Clemens is actually found guilty does he belong in the same room with Rod Blagojevich?
Do you think Roger Clemens belongs in jail?
Yuck man, this all sucks, but that's where it might go.
I'll be angry if they find him innocent, and think it idiotic if he goes to jail.
Speaking of idiots, the Cubs are in Miami today.
To repeat Lupica but insert another name, "(Ozzie) did this to himself".
Just to keep yourself honest, however, here's another good article from Jen Floyd Engel for Fox Sports.
Oh yeah, the first amendment.
Okay, done with politics for a year I hope.
Ryan Dempster and his 3-7 Cubs take the mound against Josh Johnson and his 4-6 Marlins tonite at 6:10 Chicago time.
Dempster SO deserves a win, while Johnson has started off not so good giving up 21 hits in his 2 starts and 9.2 innings.
