I don't really know what the average is for player turnover for your average team during an average new season.
This year's 25 man roster is vastly different than last year, and I expect it to keep evolving as this season goes along.
I think it's 10 new guys - Mather, Stewart, LaHair, DeJesus, Clevenger, Maholm, Volstad, and then pick any 3: Dolis, Camp, Cabrera, or Corpas.
If I made a mistake here, don't blame me - the Cubs don't even know they have Joe Mather (I copied this from Cubs.com just now):
Anyway, that's a pretty big turnover, and while we all expect... not much this year, man oh MAN AM I HAPPY THEY'RE GOING IN THIS NEW DIRECTION.
I'm happy there's no Z and all that baggage, I'm happy these guys all seem like they're focused on baseball and being a team, and most of all I'm happy that real, honest to God baseball is gonna start in our city in less than a week.
There's alot to look forward to, guys.
And it hasn't felt like this in a loooong time.
Go Cubs.

Lastly, I tried to look at the Sun Times sports page online, and got this window:
You guys think it's worth $6.99 a month to read the Sun Times online?
How about the reduced price of $1.99 a month?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
