You guys heard about this superstar Cuban outfielder guy, right?
Yoenis Cespedas?
And you read that the Cubs are Yoenis Cespedas' "Leading Suitor" on MLBTR.
Anyway, the other day I was driving around listening to The Score, and heard about this legendary Cespedas video.
Dan Bernstein was saying that it apparently showed what an amazing, freak athlete this Cespedas guy is - that he reminded people of Bo Jackson.
But also that mysteriously, You Tube had taken it down.
Well, I went to You Tube and...they musta decided to put it back up because here it is!
Only, it's over 20 minutes long so I thought I'd give you just the highlights in this shortened version.
He does look really impressive!
That "bullet test"...well it's a crazy test but whatever.
And I'm sure that jumping over the moon thing is a special effect, but he clearly beats Usain Bolt in a race.
Seriously?
If you have the 20 minutes, go to the link and watch.
(Listening will be up to you - it starts with Christopher Cross' "Sailing" which dissolves into "Look at me now" by Chris Brown Feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne and goes on insanely from there.)
It's a horribly produced yet fascinating and awesome video.
And while he really does to a total Alfonso-Homer Admiration lasting 7 seconds, he also thanks his Mom at the end (she musta been a superstar softball player or something), and then there's this unbelievable footage of him roasting a hog.
What is not to like about that?
On another note, there's a storm bigger than Iowa about to hit Chicago.
If I didn't have to be at work, I wouldn't even be down here.
