Gotta admit I was watching you tube stuff online, cleaning up, doing an illustration, and watching the Cubs all at the same time.
I didn't really pay attention to this play til Bob Brenly said something like, "How can you be 10 feet away and miss this call? Terrible."
So what I didn't notice or see (maybe somebody else was watching?) was...did Mike Quade make a stink?
After I got done with this painting, I show my daughter and explain the play.
She goes, "Did the manager blow a gasket?"
I mean, this call was SOOOO obviously horrible...
Ahhh, even if he didn't do anything, I'm sick of picking on Quade.
It's like picking on the manager of the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
So how's this: that ump sucks.
He gave the Fish another out, they took advantage and once again the Cubs lose another series.
Randy Wells.
What do you guys think?
6 innings 8 hits 4 earned runs 2 homers and a 6.71 ERA.
He looked SO good in spring ball, you wonder if something isn't still kinda off with the forearm.
What else?
Jim Thome is 4 home runs from 600 and 13 from Sammy Sosa.
Conversely, some kid named Zack Cozart hit the first homer of his career, helped the Reds beat the Cards.
Not having anything to do with anything, we saw "Horrible Bosses".
Not so funny.
Hey did you notice how conceptual the illustration is today?
Yeah it is.
I pulled that piece of cardboard out of the garbage and drew on it.
It's garbage!
HA!
Like a whole other dimension of illustrated depth for your added amusement.
