Okay, time to put all that Bears stuff in the rear view.
Remember baseball?
Sunshine, flip flops, green seats, Wayne Messmer's voice, a Frosty Cold One, Todd Wellemeyer...
Okay, maybe not Wellemeyer, but that other stuff - remember that?
We should maybe start talking about that again, because it's almost February, and February has a 14th, and the 14th is Valentine's Day, which is the holiday that coincidentally coincides with the day that pitchers and catchers report, which is kinda funny because Valentine's Day is about love, and so is the day that pitchers and catchers report because: we all love baseball.
19 days from now Mitts'll be poppin' and coaches'll be saying things like, "That Dempster is in really good shape" and you and I will be going NNNGAAAAAAAAAAAA BASEBALL'S HERE!
We'll see Garza in a Cub hat and Casey Coleman will still look like a skinny 12 year old and life will start to get back to normal and man I cannot tell you how fabulous it feels to write this stuff.
Anyway, hi.
Lets get back to Chicago Cubs baseball.
