Everybody seems to have a different opinion of what the Bears will do against the Packers today.
Will he rest the starters, will he start the starters, will he not allow Hester to return punts, would he actually let Todd Collins on the field?
To me, that's the key right there - if Cutler is starting, then the rest of the offense has to start. I mean, he's not gonna rest Olin Kreutz and put Cutler in there. Besides, the backup center is starting guard Roberto Garza. And the backup left tackle is the backup right tackle, Kevin Shaffer.
If he actually puts in Todd Collins, then expect the offense to not stay on the field longer than 3 downs, and that would gas the defense, and you can't not start the defensive starters or the Packers would run up the score so fast that surely there would be confidence ramifications.
I figure this to be a real game, and that's my hope as well.
Let 'em play, Lovie.
...and if you didn't recognize the jingle Lovie's singing for Golden Grahams, go here (but you might not be able to get it out of your head for the rest of the day).
