Amazing game last night.
You think it was the Giants' bats or the Rangers' pitching?
Either way, I believe I heard Cliff Lee tossed 30-odd pitches in the 4th (that's when I got home), and then came the Gigantic 5th when the Giants scored 6 impossible runs off Lee and Darren O'Day.
Well, I'm swamped like crazy, so here are the Cliff Notes:
If this was a signature game for the Giants, then Freddy Sanchez gets to dot the i (3 doubles in a row - WS record) and Juan Uribe gets to cross the t (another homer, this one off O'Day).
And Rangers' pictching is gonna have to get back on the horse that threw 'em.
Giants 11, Rangers 7.
I'm shocked at this slaughter in game one, and it makes game two all the more compelling.
On a completely different note:
There's a new movie coming out called "Skyline" directed by brothers Greg and Colin Strause who own an effects house called Hydraulix. Looks like space horror visited upon Earth. While there are teams of super talented people who actually do the effects, my brother Grog spent 70 something days straight working on it. And these are not short days I'm talking about.
Anyway, if you can, go see it.
I promise that something my bro did will scare the crap out of you.
Lastly lastly, Barry Bonds says if Mark McGwire can do it, so can I.
Would you want this man as your hitting coach?
