I heard about the Rod Blagojevich thing on the radio on the way home, and then I watched the Cubs.
Just...fabulous!
Like staph infection.
At the end of the game with one out, a man on, and the Cubs down by a run, I watched Alfonso Soriano flail away at Heath Bell's pitches like a blind man. And, not that I'm not aware of it all the time, but for some reason it really hit me: I'm gonna have to watch that sorry piece of crap do that same thing for YEARS TO COME.
He'll only get worse.
Did you hear his convoluted thinking about his season the other day? The one about how hard it is to have a good year when the team is so awful? And if the team was good everybody could then have a good year?
And now it looks like Blago is going another round with the prosecutors.
They're like those last guests on your couch who never leave.
Nightmare!
And the rumor this morning is D Lee is going to the Braves.
That's all I got besides the Cubs losing another one run game.
