This Blackhawk team is filled with tough guys, but Brian Campbell began playing with his busted collarbone only about a month after that chicken hit from Alexander Ovechkin.
A busted collarbone has the kind of hurt to it that makes you not want to move at all, let alone go play freakin' pro hockey. Yet there he is, out there playing.
And what he did at the same time was allow Joel Quennville to move Dustin Byfuglien from D to O and go play up with Kane and Toews, which is where some kind of crazy history is being made.
Anyway, REALLY admire Campbell.
What a stud.
Hawks win yesterday, they're up 2-0, and now they fly to Philadelphia for Game 3.
On the opposite end of the fun scale, the Cubs drop another game to the fearsome Pirates. When Lou said he was gonna shake up the lineup, I didn't expect him to sit Theriot who's healthy but not hitting. I expected him to sit Aramis who's not healthy and not hitting. And Lou hints that this move might last awhile.
Whatever, dude.
Tonight Tyler Colvin is supposed to start and maybe that'll help.
God.
The Pirates.
Just awful.
