Big Z's got perfection demons like you can't imagine, and if things don't go like he thinks they should well, he blows a gasket.
But I guess that's part of what drives his competitive fire.
Anyway, he sort of melted down for an inning last night, and it ruined his day.
Walked 3 guys. Gave up another grand slam.
I don't really care about it, I was more concerned that the radar gun was getting up in the 90's.
He seems to work in waves this year, and if he's not about to crest again then he's at least on the way up.
The really cool thing that's happening is Captain D Lee is starting in with the big clutch hits.
The bullpen looked awesome last night, and that homer from Aramis... these things just make you feel optimistic.
You know, you could be a Met, Brewer, West coast or Sox fan.
Yeesh.
And the CC Sabathia thing - I just thought management there was totally abusing the guy, but I guess he's asking for it.

But things feel like they're getting better rather than the other way.
