Well, the game turned into sort of a turd last night.

Even though he was on a real tight pitch count, I was hoping Dempster would get his 18th win...
Whatever Gaudin did to his back way back when, or HOW he did it... I'd sure be kicking myself.
And last night he not only gives up the Ricky Weeks 3-run homer, but that balk throwing over to D Lee who wasn't on the bag with the fat Brewer pitcher on first was revolting.
Lou's been giving Chad every chance to get back, but I don't know...
Lou likes Howry because the guy throws strikes, but you and I know alot of those strikes go out of the park.
Jeff Samardzija - well he's got a lack of experience that Lou's got to be thinking about.
But I like the kid's arm and makeup.
And matchup-wise, today it looks like the Cubs/Dodgers, which would be cool with Lou vs. Torre.
But I wouldn't be looking forward to Howry or Gaudin vs. Manny in about the 6th or 7th, you know?
Anyway, however it shakes out will be interesting, and once his mind's made up I'm not arguing with Lou.
He's the driver and it's his bus.
But if you want to debate this, today's a good day for it.
