Alfonso Soriano Has "The Hits"

First off, congrats to Jason Marquis.
Just what the doctor ordered, he went 7 1/3 innings and gave up only 2 runs.
Amazing.
But the bats are what got me so excited last night.
Hitting is contagious, and Alfonso Soriano started it off with a solo homer in the 3rd.
Then, the others caught it.
"Now I've got the hits, too." said Derrek Lee.
He had 4.
Ryan Theriot and Reed Johnson got a couple, Mark DeRosa and Jason Marquis hit homers too.
"Looks like us guys have the hits as well." they said.
Geovany Soto had a double, and Mike Fontenot and Aramis Ramirez each had singles.
Pretty much everybody had the hits.
But it was Alfonso with a single and 2 more homers who had it the worst.
Plus he had 4 runs.
In fact Cedeno, Theriot, Ramirez, Hoffpauir, DeRo, Johnson, and Marquis all scored.
You guessed it.
"I think we've got the runs, too." they said.
The whole team did, as the Cubs beat the Reds 14 - 9.
Victory, finally.
