Carlos Zambrano.
What an athlete.
You saw the triple in that last game - could you imagine being the 3rd baseman?
Carlos running at you all crazy like that?
God.
On television and in front of everybody including my Dad and children, I would have just run away.
Okay, here's what he's doing with the bat: he's been up 41 times and has 15 hits for a .366 average.
He's hit 2 doubles, a triple and a homer, and has 5 RBIs.
His on base percentage is .366 and he's slugging .537.
THAT'S INSANE!
This afternoon he'll square up against 3-5 Derek Lowe, who's hitting just above Mendoza at .208.
Carlos also has 1 loss and 8 wins.
Lets hope he gets another one.
Too bad young Sean Gallagher didn't last night.
I think this kid will be awfully good.
Gotta get a little more control and more importantly experience - so I'd leave him right where he is.
The way he got out of his bases loaded problem last night I think in the 3rd or 4th was pretty cool.
But Hiroki Kuroda went all 9 innings and only gave up 4 Cub hits.
Not enough.
Dodgers 3 Cubs zeerow.
Go Cubs.
Ps: If you didn't see it, YouTube "Red Sox Tampa Bay Brawl". Usually baseball "brawls" are a bunch of guys standing around looking angry. These guys weren't kidding.
