wuh...wuuhr...wuuhrrl...duh...wuuhrrlduh...suh....ssseeee...ruh...eeez...
Whoa, can't quite get those words out.
Okay, so after his May 30th prediction that the Cubs would make the dramatic comeback vs. the Rockies, I've been waiting for his next psychic vision.
So far, hasn't come.
But that's okay.
Lets just assume this morning he said something like, "I think I'll have a cup of coffee."
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
That just might come TRUE!
And tonight at 6:10, it'll be Dempster against Tampa Bay (Devil) Ray Scott Kazmir.
Scott's got a 1.74 ERA, and the Rays are really good, even if I barely know anybody on their team.
Here's what I do know: Derrek Lee may be starting to get hot, the Cubs took 2 of 3 from Toronto, they're 2nd in the NL in team batting (.283 BA), 1st in NL team pitching (3.61 ERA), they're 20 games over .500, they still have the best record in baseball with 45 W's vs 25 L's, and so far Dempster leads the league in prediction attempts at 2.
DB thanks for idea sharing, hope you like the retro-ey postery predicty Dempster.
I won't predict a thing for this series - the last time I did with one of these Florida teams was '03.
(I was...wrong.)
I do, however, predict I will watch this evening.
