I was just talking to Olson about how awesome this team is with the lack of egos.
Remember when Sammy Sosa was asked to move down in the batting order?
Look at all these huge Cubs making room for Fukudome - it's really cool.
But yesterday, Jason Marquis said he doesn't want to go to the bullpen.
He'd rather be traded.
I've been reading around, and there's some interesting stuff (LOHO, The Other Fifteen) about why Jason might lay down the law with Lou like this.
Yep, somebody's gonna have to go if the Cubs want to make a trade(s).
Jason's made a convenient bad guy out of himself.
And Lou's already responded by saying pretty much: here's a plane ticket, Bub.
So, we'll see what happens.
But really, this is just the first bit of boat-rocking in the first week of Spring Training.
I think we're all just dying to have something to talk about.
