Man, if I had to do this report, it would include nothing but shoveling the freaking sidewalk and the general pot-holery around Chicago.
There's a pot-hole under the train tracks at Irving just west of the Kennedy that I hit about 35 mph the other day. There is nothing that elicits a worse string of instant filth from my mouth than that. I have taught my children the absolute worst things in my car that way.
So back to baseball - with things finally getting started in Arizona, there is hope and optimism and a light at the end of this, the longest tunnel of winter in years.
The Cubs got Jon Lieber back, and my recollection of him is he's a good guy and pretty solid so, I hope he stays healthy.
Anyway, I figure every blog and sports page is all yada yada yada with opinions today, so I'll just say I'm glad we're on the back end of this winter.
And, go Cubs.
