Olson said, "Where did that come from?"
And I still don't know.
Carlos Marmol - he wasn't anybody to get excited about before.
Last year he had the same number of walks as strike-outs, 59, in 77 innings.
But man, this guy has really come on this year.
His ERA is 1.07, he's got 36 strikeouts and 8 walks in 25.1 innings, he throws 95.
He's the guy the other teams don't want to see right now.
Against the Nats yesterday, he pitched 1.1 innings, gave up a hit but had 2 strike-outs.
No runs, no walks.
Now I'm hearing "future closer".
Well...maybe.
Anyway, Cubs win 3-1, they've won 10 out of the last 11, plus the Brewers lost so now they're lead is 5.5 games.
