I don’t hate the guy - I just wish he hadn’t come back.
I wish there were no rumors, I wish there was no corked bat, I wish there was no walkout on the team, I wish there was no lying to Dusty (and me).
Other than Giambi and the Met batboy who’s supposedly a giant witness with a list of bad guys, I really haven’t heard much about performance enhancement and cheating this season.
But that’s gonna come, and it’s gonna be a train wreck.
Obviously, I’m swayed by Sammy’s (lying) past, and by his before and after photos which are not unlike the ones of Barry Bonds: regular head, giant head.
Of course this all needs to be cleaned up.
I just don’t want to watch.
So far, he hasn’t really been under any major public scrutiny.
But 600 homers ought to bring that on.

Next, I listened to the SCORE 670 last night, and there were 3 guys on, don’t know their names, but they were all like, “Of course Michael Barrett was going to be dumped, EVERYBODY knew that.”
I pretty much pay attention, read the sports.
I was thinking (still am) Jones would go.
But this Barrett thing took me totally by surprise.
