The One-Run-Loss Monkey

Actually, maybe that monkey's gone from my back.
Lou's point of view seems to be a one run loss is, given the circumstances, not bad - at least you're in the game.
But Lou wasn't here last year, when the Cubs wallowed in them I think 19 times.
Okay, enough with the negativity.
What an incredible sweep weekend with the winning streak at 5.
Guzman looked pretty good, the hitting off the bench from Murton, Blanco, and Ward, Soriano playing 2nd.
If they keep winning like this, it'll be so much fun to watch.
Or listen, which is what I did.
And when Ward knocked in the winning run, Pat Hughes' "THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN!" overlapped with Ron Santo's wild happy-animal noises...that is just something not to be missed.
Made my whole day.
