If only he was like Bob Howry – having to pitch about a million innings in meaningless, loser games last year.
You could blame it on Dusty (abusing an arm in the bullpen).
But you can’t, cause Neal Cotts wasn’t a Cub last year…
There’ll be plenty of bad to read about the Cubs today.
So how’s about this instead: did you know Neal Cotts was born in Belleville, IL*?
The band Uncle Tupelo was from Belleville too.
That band split up and basically turned into Wilco and Son Volt.
Wilco’s new cd, “Sky Blue Sky”, is excellent.
So rather than be bummed about another Cub loss, go buy the new Wilco cd.
That or maybe watch some “Beverly Hillbillies” re-runs.
You’ll feel a whole lot better.
*If you look around online, Neal was born either in Belleville or Lebanon, IL.
